Polly Fehily

I draw heavy objects on fragile paper using tiny repetitive marks that alter over the process of drawing.

I am interested in how objects we use change and are worn down with frequent use; and how the bodies that use these objects change and adapt with their use.

I draw around the edge of objects like an insect discovering the perimeter of a thing, or a person trying to find the layout of a large building or someone negotiating the systems of a corporation or authority.
